Iran says won't target neighbors unless territories used for attacks

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran will stop targeting neighboring countries unless their territories are used to launch attacks against Iran. In a televised message carried by Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, Pezeshkian apologized to neighboring countries affected by recent Iranian strikes and emphasized that Iran seeks unity and stability in the region. He said the decision was made during a meeting of Iran's interim leadership council and has already been conveyed to the armed forces.
