"Taiwan has been an integral part of China since ancient times. It never was, is not and never will be a country," Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Sunday.
Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks at a press conference on foreign policy held on the sidelines of the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress in Beijing.
