China's commitment to growing together with the Asia-Pacific region is unwavering, and China will translate the goal of building an Asia-Pacific community into action, turning its blueprint into reality, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Sunday.
Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China, made the remarks at a press conference on the sidelines of the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress.
The 33rd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting, to be held in China's Shenzhen, will focus on the three priorities of openness, innovation and cooperation, and chart the course and rally strengths for Asia-Pacific cooperation, Wang added.
China is ready to promote a restart from APEC Shenzhen toward the goal of building an Asia-Pacific community, said Wang.
