Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Sunday reaffirmed the enduring strength of China-Africa ties, noting that the tradition of beginning the diplomatic year with a visit to Africa has been upheld rain or shine for 36 consecutive years – a commitment he stated reflects the spirit of China's foreign policy.
"It's no exaggeration to say that the China-Africa friendship has been passed down from generation to generation, forged heart to heart, and built with sweat and blood," Wang said at a press conference on the sidelines of the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress.
