Wang Yi: China and India must uphold good-neighborliness and friendship

Mutual trust and cooperation is beneficial to the development of China and India, while division and confrontation is detrimental to Asia's rejuvenation, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Sunday, at a press conference on the sidelines of the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress in Beijing.

He added that China and India must maintain the right strategic outlook, uphold good-neighborliness and friendship and focus on development – their biggest common denominator – so that BRICS cooperation can become more substantive and bring new hope to the Global South.
