China has unveiled two more Type 055 guided-missile destroyers, namely Dongguan (hull number 109) and Anqing (hull number 110).
With these additions, the number of Type 055 10,000-ton class destroyers that have been officially unveiled has risen to 10.
The Type 055 is one of the Chinese PLA Navy's most advanced surface combatants and is designed for air defense, missile strike and fleet command roles within carrier strike groups.
