Chen Yunying, a National People's Congress deputy from Taiwan region, says the complete reunification of China should be viewed through promoting the unity of the Chinese nation. As lawmakers are deliberating a draft law on promoting ethnic unity and progress, Chen says Chinese people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait share a common identity.
