The 15th Five-Year Plan presents a major development opportunity for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), which can grow and integrate with the Chinese mainland through coordinated efforts, said Tu Haiming, a Hong Kong member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), at the Members' Corridor of the fourth session of the 14th National Committee of the CPPCC on Wednesday.

HKSAR can serve as the launchpad for mainland enterprises going global, a powerful engine for industrial innovation, a bridge for institutional innovation and a booster of green products, said Tu.
