Urumqi Tianshan International Airport in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, has launched its fourth direct cargo route to the UK, with a new service to Teesside International Airport starting March 10. The route, operated by European Cargo Services, runs five times weekly. This launch strengthens Urumqi's role as a key China–UK air freight gateway and reinforces its status as a major international aviation hub.
