Mohammad Darvish, an environmentalist and head of the Environment Committee at UNESCO's Iran branch, warned that US-Israeli strikes on Tehran's oil depots could blacken large areas of land and send pollutants into rivers linked to reservoirs, threatening residents' livelihoods and worsening Iran's environmental crisis.
