As China's visa-free policies expand and travel services continue to improve, more tourists are discovering the country in ways that are easier and more accessible than ever before.

Travelers from around 50 countries can now visit China visa-free for up to 30 days. In 2025, China recorded 30.08 million visa-free entries by foreign nationals, accounting for 73.1% of all inbound foreign arrivals.

From historic landmarks and modern cities to rich cultural traditions and diverse cuisine, visitors are discovering China from many angles while benefiting from the ease of getting around and making payments thanks to modern transport and digital services.
