China's engine for reusable rockets completes long-range test

Liqing-2, China's 110-tonne liquid oxygen kerosene engine for reusable rockets, has completed a key long-range test. Developed by CAS Space, the engine under went multiple ignitions, with the longest single burn lasting 200 seconds. Total operational time hit 420 seconds, enough to cover a rocket's first-stage flight. Cumulative testing for the engine has now surpassed 1,000 seconds.
