Across China, the "flower economy," an industry built around flowers, and which includes flower cultivation, sales and cultural tourism, is blossoming. From countryside cafes to creative bakeries, flowers are inspiring new ways for visitors to taste the season.

In Chongzhou, Sichuan Province, travelers gathered in golden rapeseed fields to enjoy a steaming Sichuan hotpot.

In Beijing, a bakery has launched flower-themed pastries such as plum blossom rolls and red plum puffs. With delicate floral designs and seasonal flavors, each bite feels like a small taste of spring.
