China's new Type 055 destroyer, Dongguan (Hull number 109), has finished its first maritime training. The training, held in the East China Sea, included single-vessel and joint operation drills. Equipped with advanced software and hardware, it boasts a faster response and longer detection range than existing vessels of the same class. With Dongguan's commission, China now has 10 Type 055 destroyers.
