Alpine skier Liu Sitong of China continued to showcase her prowess at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Paralympics, clinching a bronze medal in the women's giant slalom sitting competition on Thursday.

Liu clocked in at 1:16.38 on her first run and maintained her momentum with a time of 1:18.41 after the second run, sealing her spot on the podium.

The 31-year-old, who proudly served as one of China's flagbearers during the opening ceremony, celebrated her fourth bronze medal at this edition of the Games, continuing to demonstrate exceptional form on the slopes.

Compatriot Zhang Wenjing finished in sixth place, rounding out the Chinese presence in the event, while the gold medal went to Germany's Anna-Lena Forster, who delivered a stunning performance to top the podium.

In the women's standing category, defending champion Zhang Mengqiu only managed a fifth-place finish, with Zhu Wenjing one spot behind her in sixth. Sweden's Ebba Aarsjoe emerged victorious, claiming the title in a competitive field.
