Iran has rejected international calls for restraint, saying the country is exercising its right to self-defense amid ongoing attacks. In an interview with CGTN's Sepehr Saremi in Tehran, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said it was "unfair" to ask Iran to show restraint while it is under attack. He also criticized countries that call on "both sides" to de-escalate, saying they should "call a spade a spade" and hold what he described as "the aggressors" accountable.
