As temperatures rise in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, over 10,000 migratory birds have returned to the poplar forest in Luntai county. Black-headed gulls, egrets and cormorants now forage and soar across the Tarim River basin, bringing vitality to the region. Thanks to recent ecological efforts like water diversion and forest conservation, the area has become a key stopover for birds on their spring migration.
