Following the recently concluded Two Sessions, Uganda is looking to expand cooperation with China in areas such as green development, digitalization and agricultural industrialization.
Oliver Wonekha, Uganda's ambassador to China, said China's development agenda and high-standard opening up present new opportunities for Africa. Uganda will take advantage of China's expanded zero-tariff access for African exports to boost trade and add value to key products like coffee. She noted that deeper engagement across the value chain could help support the country's industrialization goals.
