Representatives from ethnic communities respond to newly adopted law promoting ethnic unity

A new piece of legislation has been adopted during the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress. The Ethnic Unity and Progress Promotion Law is designed to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of all ethnic groups while further strengthening national cohesion and solidarity. CGTN reporter Yang Jinghao spoke with representatives from several ethnic communities in southwest China's Yunnan Province, one of the country's most ethnically diverse regions, to learn about their views and expectations regarding the new law.
