Soochow University is redefining how a modern university connects research, education and enterprise. In Suzhou, a city known for pairing cultural heritage with industrial strength, the university has 19 disciplines in the Essential Science Indicators (ESI) Top 1% and five in the Top 0.1%. It has incubated more than 500 companies through its National University Science Park, accredited by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education, and has formed joint consortiums with 200 leading enterprises in robotics, biomedicine, AI and new materials. Its vision is clear: bring enterprise labs onto campus and move classrooms into industry.
