Shen noted that during this year's Two Sessions, President Xi Jinping stressed expanding high-level opening-up, tapping global markets and better integrating into the global cycle – reaffirming China's firm resolve to open wider to the world. Shen pointed out that China's blueprint for high-quality development offers new opportunities for the world.

"As the world's largest and most comprehensive international media conglomerate with the widest business scope and coverage, CMG stands ready to leverage its strengths in integrated communication, tech innovation and media resources," he said, adding that CMG will help bring the benefits of Chinese modernization to the world, share new opportunities from China's high-quality development with global partners, build innovation platforms for tech to benefit humanity, and jointly create a new vision of human civilization where all cultures thrive in harmony.

Yu stated that China's Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development lays out a strategic blueprint for the country's development over the next five years, underscoring its consistent institutional strengths and conveying firm confidence in the steady and long-term growth of the Chinese economy. He said the 15th Five-Year Plan will foster a new environment of institutional opening-up for German businesses, inject fresh impetus into Germany's industrial transformation and technological upgrading, provide new opportunities for its energy transition and green development, continue to open up vast new markets for German manufacturing, and lend new global significance to the upgrading of China-Germany relations.

Schmelzer stated that North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), one of Germany's most populous and economically strongest federal states, has maintained close and fruitful cooperation with multiple provinces of China in economic and trade, scientific research and people-to-people exchanges. He said the Germany-China friendship has grown stronger with time. According to Schmelzer, this year's Two Sessions have once again sent a clear message to the world: China will stay committed to opening-up and cooperation, pursue win-win results, share opportunities and seek common development with all countries.

He added that, amid the complex and evolving international landscape, mutual understanding and communication are more important than ever, and openness and dialogue should be the main theme of international cooperation. "It is believed that through candid exchanges, mutual understanding and practical cooperation, Germany and China will surely advance bilateral relations and inject more positive energy into world peace and development," he said.
