Large crowds gathered in Tehran on Wednesday for the funeral of National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani, head of the Basij forces Gholamreza Soleimani, and others. Iran confirmed Larijani's death in an Israeli airstrike after Israel first reported it. 

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced a massive wave of missile strikes on Israel "in revenge for the blood of martyr Dr Ali Larijani and his companions." Sepehr Saremi reports from the funeral in Tehran.
