Chinese ambassador calls for dialogue, saying war 'should not have happened'

Chinese Ambassador to the UK Zheng Zeguang, discussing the Middle East, called for an immediate return to dialogue, saying "this is a war that should not have happened, a war that does no one any good."

While speaking at the China-UK Economic and Trade Forum, he emphasized that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all nations must be respected and urged an immediate halt to military actions to prevent further escalation.
