Recently, a house fire broke out in Yongzhou, Hunan Province, trapping a mother and son on the second floor. Firefighters on the scene searched through thick smoke and intense heat to rescue the pair. Two of the rescuers suffered from heat exhaustion and had to be assisted. The husband of the rescued woman wept with gratitude for being reunited with his family.
