US Democratic Senator from Virginia Mark Warner is raising alarms over what he describes as a major shift in global alliances, warning that traditional partners like Canada and the United Kingdom are now pursuing trade deals with China amid growing doubts about US reliability.

Speaking during a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on the escalating tensions with Iran, Warner criticized the administration's military campaign, pointing to rising casualties, billions in costs and widespread disruptions to global supply chains.
