A fisherman fractured his ankle after being injured by a rolling drum 120 nautical miles from Shiyang Port on March 20. The East China Sea Rescue Bureau coordinated a quick helicopter rescue, with a flight route arranged and local emergency services on standby. At 2:50 p.m., the helicopter reached the vessel, where a rescuer assessed the fisherman’s condition and transferred him using a double harness.
