The Rafah border crossing has been closed again on Friday after a partial reopening on Thursday for Palestinians to cross both ways. Israel had already suspended operations at the Rafah border, the only channel for Palestinians to travel outside Gaza, after the US and Israel launched combat operations against Iran and against Hezbollah in Lebanon. The war has left thousands of Palestinians either stranded in Egypt or desperately seeking evacuation for medical treatment abroad.
