Three people have died, and four others were injured in a fire in central Moscow early Monday morning, the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported.
The fire, which broke out in an apartment in a residential building and spread over 100 square meters, has been extinguished, with more than 20 people evacuated.
Eighty-six personnel were involved in extinguishing the fire, the ministry said.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.
