March 23 marks the 28th anniversary of China's J-10 fighter jet's maiden flight, which has evolved from its debut into a platform capable of multi-type, system-based combat operations.
In recent days, multiple units of the People's Liberation Army Air Force have deployed J-10C and other aircraft for high-intensity drills under complex electromagnetic conditions, including red-blue confrontations and close-range fights.
During the drills, opposing sides progressed from tracking and lock-on to close-in combat, shifting between offense and defense until the end of the engagement.
