A Bombardier CRJ-900 aircraft operated by Air Canada collided with a fire truck at LaGuardia Airport in New York on Sunday evening, leaving four firefighters seriously injured and prompting the temporary closure of the airport. Other reports indicated that the accident caused two deaths and 70 injuries.
The aircraft, which had arrived from Montreal, Canada, was carrying approximately 100 passengers. Footage showed that the nose of the plane was severely damaged.
