A Colombian Air Force C-130 Hercules transport plane crashed shortly after takeoff in Putumayo province on Monday, with 125 people on board.

Local authorities said the crash has left at least 66 people dead, while the cause of the incident remains under investigation.

Officials said there is no evidence of an external attack.
