Watch how the night sky explodes into light as China's commercial rocket Smart Dragon 3 blasted off above the waters of Haiyang city, eastern China's Shandong Province, at 11:49 p.m. (Beijing Time) on March 22, delivering the CentiSpace 02 satellite group into orbit.

Smart Dragon-3 is a four-stage solid-propellant commercial rocket. Designed primarily for missions to sun-synchronous orbit and low Earth orbit, it features a carrying capacity of 1,500 kilograms to a 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit. Sunday's launch marked the 10th flight for the rocket.
