The peak bloom of cherry blossoms makes March the perfect time for spring outings. The 14th Zhongxi Cherry Blossom Tourism Season opened on March 20 in Pinghu, Zhejiang Province, and has been attracting many visitors.  

Zhongxi Cherry Blossom Park has rearranged its trees – popular varieties of weeping, early-and late-blooming cherry trees – to enhance the visitor experience. The pink-and-white blossoms glow in the gentle spring sunlight, adding to the overall appeal of the park.

At the park, visitors can join latte art competitions, watch traditional performances of Yue and Shanghai operas, and take part in a variety of activities including concerts, book clubs, talent shows, and local markets, or simply relax on the lawn, fly kites, and set up tents to make the most of the spring season. The fun continues into the evening. The third annual Different Kind of Fireworks gala uses original music performances to add a vibrant touch to the nighttime experience during the tourism season.
