A decade ago, much of the Yangtze's shoreline was dominated by factories and docks. Today, the landscape has changed dramatically. Once constrained by development, the river is now opening up again. Former industrial banks have been transformed into green corridors, where water flows freely and people return. This is how the Yangtze is being restored, to nature and to the public.
