As temperatures rise across northeast China, spring agricultural production has officially commenced in Liaoning Province. Zhangwu County, a once ecologically fragile sandy region, is now witnessing vigorous farming activity underpinned by an innovative cropping system.
This year marks the third year of implementation for the "wheat-soybean double cropping" model in the county, with the planned cultivation area expected to approach 2,000 hectares. Under the rotation system, farmers first sow spring wheat, followed by summer soybeans in early July, realizing a seamless transition between harvesting and sowing.
