Following the spring equinox, rising temperatures have drawn tens of thousands of migratory birds, including egrets, cormorants, and whooper swans, to Bosten Lake in Xinjiang, China's largest inland freshwater lake.

Thanks to recent ecological water replenishment and environmental governance, the lake's ecosystem has been greatly improved, making it a vital habitat.
