Junwang, or Empire Hope, China's newest 307,000-tonne Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC), was delivered in northeast China's Dalian on Wednesday.

The homegrown mega tanker stands nearly 20 stories high from the keel to the bridge with an 18,000-square-meter deck, marking the country's world-class capabilities in shipbuilding design and construction.
