Slain Lebanese journalist's vow to expose Israeli crimes until death

On March 28, local time, the Israeli military launched air strikes on southern Lebanon, killing three Lebanese journalists in the Jezzine region. Among them was Fatima Fatouni, a journalist with the Lebanese Al Mayadeen TV network, who had previously been targeted by Israeli forces. In a past report, she displayed her bulletproof vest and helmet, which were in tatters, and held up her microphone, saying that this was what the Israeli military referred to as a "weapon." She vowed to continue using her microphone to convey the truth and expose the Israeli military's crimes until the very end of her life.
