Vijay Prashad, director of the Tricontinental, suggests that the United States may have already lost the conflict with Iran on the political level. While the US and Israel have overwhelming military superiority and could inflict severe damage on Iran, such an outcome, he warns, would amount to "Pyrrhic victory" – winning tactically, but losing strategically.
