Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei says the strike that recently killed the Navy Commander Admiral Tangsiri constituted an act of aggression under international law. He argued that the US and Israel had violated Article 2(4) of the UN Charter and that any actions taken within what he described as an unlawful war framework amounted to war crimes.
