The US' defense budget has long topped the world, yet the military is facing a "magazine depth" crisis in the Iran war, which refers to the inability to maintain rapid ammunition supply and sustain long-term industrial production during wartime. High spending doesn't always mean high readiness. As the US is struggling to fill its own gaps, it keeps arming allies like Israel. Is the "superpower" military advantage just a hollow shell?
