US President Donald Trump said Tuesday that American involvement in the Iran conflict would end "in two or three weeks."

It will be up to other countries to reopen and secure the Strait of Hormuz, he reiterated.

On his stated objectives, Trump claimed that the goal of a nuclear-free Iran "has been attained."
