The International Criminal Court's member states voted ‌on Wednesday to move ahead with disciplinary proceedings ‌against ‌Chief Prosecutor Karim ‌Khan after receiving two ‌reports of sexual-assault allegations against him, the ‌Wall Street Journal reported, citing officials familiar with ‌the vote.

Reuters could not immediately verify the report.

Khan, who investigates war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide, has stepped aside temporarily pending an investigation into accusations ‌of a non-consensual sexual relationship ‌with a lawyer in his office. He rejects any allegations of wrongdoing.
