China, Thailand and Vietnam have jointly dismantled a cross-border drug manufacturing network and arrested 41 suspects in coordinated raids across the three countries.
The operation, carried out on Thursday by anti-narcotics agencies from all three, targeted three sites involved in the illegal production of etomidate and its precursor.
Authorities seized 6 kg of solid etomidate and 65 liters in liquid form, along with 15 kg of kratom leaves, about 5 tonnes of drug-making materials and multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment.
