What once seemed like a solid transatlantic alliance is now showing visible cracks. From unilateral US military actions to disputes over Greenland and deepening divisions on Ukraine, the "America First" agenda has increasingly clashed with Europe's core interests. As frustration grows, the EU is less willing to shoulder the costs of Washington's moves or remain in a subordinate role. With both sides drifting apart, the alliance is becoming more symbolic than real and is unlikely to return to what it once was.
