China's Qingming holiday travel surges, with 90.5 million rail passenger trips expected

Travel is surging across China during the Qingming holiday, with railways expected to handle 90.5 million passenger trips from April 3 to 7 and expressway traffic projected to average 61 million vehicle trips a day. Cross-border travel is also rising, with daily port crossings expected to exceed 2.3 million during the holiday period.
