A once barren landscape in Inner Mongolia is being transformed, with millions of trees planted to fight desertification and reduce dust storms that can reach cities like Beijing. What began with a single 100-year-old apricot tree has grown into a large-scale restoration effort. The project is not only helping the environment but also improving local livelihoods.
