Amid the widening conflict linked to the war on Iran, attention is once again turning to the Houthi group in Yemen, one of the main actors in the Middle East crisis.

CGTN spoke with Hizam al-Assad, a member of Ansar Allah's Political Bureau, about the group's level of involvement in the ongoing conflict.

Hizam al-Assad says Yemeni forces will continue to support Iran in the conflict. He added that the United States bears responsibility for any consequences of escalation in the war against Iran, including impacts on maritime routes and global security.
