90 years after Long March, thousands of students walk to honor fallen heroes

For 31 years, students from Guyuan City, the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, have walked 54 kilometers before the Qingming Festival, or Tomb Sweeping Day, to honor China's fallen heroes. This year, 3,000 students set off at 5 a.m. on April 3, making their way to Renshanhe Martyrs Cemetery – a journey that turns memory into action. As China marks the 90th anniversary of the Long March, these young footsteps carry its spirit forward, one generation at a time.
