China topped the gold medal tally on the final day at the Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup in Cairo on Monday, claiming three of the five titles on offer.

Li Hongyan delivered a high-quality routine to win the men's high bar competition with a score of 14.400 points. The Sichuan native entered the final as the top qualifier. Marios Georgiou of Cyprus snatched silver, while Eldrew Yulo of the Philippines bagged bronze.

The men's parallel bars featured Liu Yang, who had previously picked up bronze on the rings, going through as the top qualifier. He then proceeded to outpace the rest of the field in the final, grabbing gold with 14.366 points. Egyptian home favorite Mohamed Afify finished second, just 0.166 points behind. Individual neutral athlete Arsenii Dukhno, who took silver in the floor exercise, came third.

On the women's side, Ke Qinqin finished first with 12.966 points to triumph in the floor exercise. The balance beam then saw her and Qiu Qiyuan both endure tough wobbles of varying degrees, as Ke ended up settling for silver while Qiu came away with bronze behind Algeria's Kaylia Nemour.

China wrapped up the campaign in the Egyptian capital with three gold, two silver and three bronze medals.
